FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Canvas 5 date announced
BRANDON, FL -- Live music. Local art. Killer coffee. Canvas is proud to announce its next art show, due to be held on October 16th. This is one of the biggest and best known independent exhibitions in Central Florida, drawing an average of more than 1000 attendees and showcasing over 30 artists.
This show is open to all but focuses on newer artists that haven't had a lot of opportunity to show their work. The artist entry is free, and so is the exhibition. 100% of the sales go to the artists, no commissions.
Canvas was born to provide a spring board for local up and coming artists, in such a way that would benefit both their craft and their career. Our desire is not to bleed the artists of their funds, it is not to exploit them for sponsorship revenue, but to let them know that there are people who care, and that we are here to help. Canvas exists to simply promote a community of inspiration. It is an event that fosters both excellence and creativity and impacts a city through expression. Canvas is now in its 4th year of activity and its 5th exhibition.
Artist applications are now being accepted. If you are interested in showing your art to thousands of people for free, in one of the Tampa Bay's hottest art events, then contact Mike DeSerio at info@canvas813.com. The cut off date for submissions is September 1. Space is limited.
