VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Non-Profit that offers writing workshops for teens and at-risk youth

The Warrior Woman, Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing teens and at-risk youth a means of artistic expression is looking for volunteers!

We are currently running a program called "The 36 Schools Project". We will travel into under-funded and at-risk schools and run empowering spoken word poetry events for approximately 150 teens. We need volunteers for a variety of things--no matter your background or expertise, we can use you!!

We need internet-savvy individuals to keep our website and social networking sites looking good. We need people with a background in non-profits to help us find grants and raise money. We need general volunteers to do a little bit of everything! From planning summer camps, to calling schools for shows, there's always work to be done. We have volunteers who are teachers and stay-at-home moms, between the ages of 17 and 60. We'd love to add you to our roster!
