Anyone been to a really good Brunch lately? This is my favorite meal and one of the things I really miss about New York..
Recipe for good brunch = great food + great ambience + outdoor seating + great bloody marys + a little people watching (bonus)

I don't know why Tampanians care so little for brunch! I have tried a few and been disappointed, Ceviche's brunch could be good but hasn't really taken off yet, I think everyone is at church...

Permalink Reply by Ester Venouziou on December 29, 2008 at 11:48pm: Water Witch in Gulfport was really good, but it's closing! Owners have another restaurant down the street, though, and plan to offer brunch there. Called Pia's, and it's on Beach Blvd.

Permalink Reply by Jessica Dwyer on December 30, 2008 at 9:22pm: Parkshore Grill is great for brunch (Beach Drive in downtown St. Pete); Red Mesa has an interesting menu for brunch (4th Street in St. Pete, around 50th Ave N.); Cafe Alma has a great brunch and is known for it's Bloody Mary bar (Saturday brunch, on 1st Ave South), which is also in downtown St. Pete. Sorry I'm not much help on the Tampa side...; ▶ Reply to This
