Wildflower enthusiasts are in for a treat if they take an October stroll through a little known natural area on the campus of the Museum of Science and Industry ~ MOSI. Tucked in the southern portion of the museum’s campus is a 25 acre forest, a hidden gem filled with sandhills, flatwoods, and wooded wetlands currently known as the Back Woods.
