I've been living in Tampa most of my life. Back in middle school may parents moved me up north...I made it 4 years and moved back here to the sunshine my senior year of High School. That was too many years ago to count.
My mission when I moved back at age 17, was to build a career in Tampa in the entertainment business. Many Many years later, I believe I have achieved my goal. I have spent the past dozen years or more working on Cruise Ships, on the Radio, in Television, Stage Shows, now own my own Video Production Company and have been married to a performer/producer for many years. It's exactly what I wanted.
I LOVE THE TAMPA BAY AREA!!!
How long have you lived here?
Since I was 3 years old, on and off...mostly on.
What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?
Good old Pinellas Park. Although we get poked fun at often, Pinellas Park is a beautiful place to live. I'm a member of the Pinellas Park Chamber...a wonderful network of people.
The people of Pinellas Park are some of the most friendly I've met in the Tampa Bay area. The Equestrian Community of Pinellas Park is one of the areas best kept secrets.
I also like the location, we're in our own little neighborhood & not far from US19, Belcher, the interstate...we can get to anywhere else quickly and easily.
If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?
Haven't given it any thought.
What is your favorite thing about Tampa?
The weather, there really is something to be said for sunshine year round. The grey sky and snow up north becomes depressing after many months. Never underestimate the power of our beautiful sunshine and warm weather.
What kinds of things are you involved in?
Video Production, we eat sleep and breathe it!!!
Also running. Every couple of years I like to train for a big event, always up for running a quick 5K race. Running forces me to get outside on a regular basis.
I also enjoy business, networking & helping others with their businesses. I strongly believe strengthening small business is the only way we'll ever get people back to work and turn this economy around.
Tell us about what you do.
My husband Christopher Rokosz and I own and opperate a video production company, ROKOSZ MEDIA STUDIOS www.WeAreHDTV.com. We've been in business for 5 years, producing video content for television, the internet, live events, and so much more.
Chris and I have been in television and radio since we were kids. Our studio is located in St Petersburg. Last year we produced 23,000 videos with over 100 Million views!! (yeah, I know…THAT’S A TON OF VIDEO!! It was quite a year to say the least)
Now more than ever, businesses need to find new, innovative, affordable, effective ways to advertise. That is what we offer.
And not only do we produce high quality professional video at affordable rates, we also distribute video through dozens of different websites similar to YouTube. If you’re not sure how all this works, contact me…I’d love to tell you all about it.
If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?
Is there any other place to go ?
Where else have you lived?
Born in California, also lived in Connecticut for a couple of years, as well as Erie PA.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS SATURDAY!!!!
