- The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay brings help, hope and healing to people facing serious life challenges or trauma resulting from sexual assault or abuse, violence, financial distress, medical emergency, suicidal thoughts, emotional or situational problems.
- How long have you lived here?
- Since 1978
- What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?
- North Tampa near the intersection of Bearss and Florida Avenue. We like that we have a space where we can serve more people through the increased collaboration of services under one roof.
- What kinds of things are you involved in?
- Suicide Prevention, Crisis Counseling, Information and Referral, Sexual Abuse Treatment and Prevention, Sexual Assault services and Advocacy, Economic Assistance, Budget Counseling, Domestic Violence services, Telephone Reassurance to the Homebound and Elderly, Problem Gambling Counseling, Family & Child Safety, Travelers Aid, Community Education, TransCare Medical Transportation services
