If you live in Tampa Bay, Why are you here?

I grew up here. Moved away to go to UF then came back in 2000. My family is amazing and as long as they are here I will be, too! Neat history here

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

I live in Seminole Heights in 1926 apartment building. I have been in the area for 6 years. I like how close it is to Downtown and Ybor. I live right off the interstate so it's convenient to get around. I like the variety of people in my area and know all my neighbors and the tenants in the little building I manage

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

The beach, St. Pete, and neat places to bike or canoe/camp to get away. I love to hear my Grandfather tell stories about growing up in Ybor and my Grandmother about her childhood in Seminole Heights

What kinds of things are you involved in?

My previous job teaching had its own world to stay busy in, now I am looking to become involved in community groups and volunteer work. Ybor Rotary, OSHNA, United Way, language arts tutoring

Tell us about what you do.

I work in financial services at Principal Financial Group - protect income - families - retirement - business planning. My family heritage as a third generation agent with Principal plays a huge part in the pride I have in my profession.

What kinds of things are you interested in seeing on Brand Tampa?

Volunteer opportunities. Art shows. Business networking. I miss working with children so also interested in children's groups in the area.
