I feel like there are a lot of generous people our there that are looking to donate to programs that are actually doing good things that they can see and are connected to in Tampa.

How long have you lived here?
about 80% of my life
What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?
Currently around the University area, though, I think it chose me.. I enjoy it here because of intellectual conversations, dunderbaks (finally reopened), internet access, some what safe bicycle riding on campus and a totally sweet part of the Hillsborough River runs through.
If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?
Sulphur Springs. It's my destiny.
What is your favorite thing about Tampa?
I discover new places and people all the time. Let me ask you something, why does favorite have to be singular? Currently though, the Taco Bus is stupendous.
What kinds of things are you involved in?
I am a graduate of USF, News Director for the on campus radio station WBUL 1620am, President of a student departmental organization (Religious Studies Club, it was one of my Majors) and a dedicated volunteer of Community Stepping Stones, a 501c3, which works with at risk youth through the arts.

and the SOMADAMC council aka the sit on my ass and dick around on my computer council.
Tell us about what you do.
I am discovering ways to develop and reciprocate my academics and student activism though community building on varying levels.. from university, to individual, to city wide, to world wide. you don't need to go to college. drop out now and save yourself while you still can.
If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?
I stay cause I know way too many cool people to leave.
Where else have you lived?
Tampa/St. Petersburg 80% of my life and Flint, Michigan for the other 15% of my life.

What kinds of things are you interested in seeing on Brand Tampa?
really cool interface capabilities.. video, clean immediate instant messaging, maybe even phone services, like Skype (text, voice mail, local news feed)?
Video sharing, music sharing, document sharing, history sharing in some sort of searchable database (google, ebay, craigslist, etc)).. is there a limit to what you can ask for?
local production data base (soap, arts, food, clothing, handy people, sort of like a bartering/buying/selling system?) take out middle people

hey ryan, i posted the clothing swap event up, it's called Community Exchange. Nyssa mentioned that you are going to bring out the teens to sell their tshirts. is this still happening?
