If you live in Tampa Bay, Why are you here?

I am hoping to make contact with fellow designers mainly. And I am looking for a job in Tampa as a senior level designer.

How long have you lived here?

15 years

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

I live in Tampa Palms. it's a gorgeous area with all the necessities close at hand and close to the interstate so it’s an easy commute to Lakeland where I currently am working.

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

I would live to have an old house in south Tampa. I've always loved older places and think it would be fun to spruce it up.

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

There are so many options for entertainment here in Tampa — everything from the beach to the theater!

What kinds of things are you involved in?

I spend most of my time at work, designing, but I also have children involved in sports. that keeps me busy and I recently got married so I enjoy spending time with him.

Tell us about what you do.

I just started working with Smart Creative in downtown Lakeland. It’s a new studio and definitely up and coming. I was previously a designer for Publix Creative Services department for 20 years. I love what I do! I have designed everything from packaging to stage and award designs and all forms of print. I would love to find employment on a full-time basis in Tampa.

If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?

Love it for all the reasons I mentioned earlier. also my kids are established here, their dad is here and my husband works here

Where else have you lived?

I was born in Austin, TX, but lived in Michigan, Kentucky, Arkansas, and a short time in Connecticut. I moved from Kentucky to Florida in 1978

What kinds of things are you interested in seeing on Brand Tampa?

this site was referred to me by a fellow artist I went to school with. We went to Ringling in Sarasota where I graduated in 1989 as a Graphic Design major. I'm hoping to connect with fellow designers and perhaps make some work connections.
