We are here to heal the trauma of child abuse, abandonment and neglect, find children forever families, and prevent the cycle of abuse and neglect through intervention/prevention programs.

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

We have lived in numerous places in Hillsborough County. Our first location was on Florida Ave, in the 1800's. We moved our main campus to Town N Country in the 50's/60's and havent left. It is a quiet location with lots of room for kids to be kids! We also have additional locations in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties!

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

Who needs to move when you have lots of space to grow!

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

Making an impact in the lives of children and families here!

What kinds of things are you involved in?

Creating a community where children and families feel loved, nurtured and safe. Here are some ways we do that:
Community Events, Fundraising opportunities, developing relationships, finding Forever Families for our children, Collaborative projects with community orgnizations.

Tell us about what you do.

Providing food, shelter and a nurturing environment for kids to live; providing therapeutic services to heal the trauma of abuse and neglect; helping families find a child to foster or adopt; providing educational, child training and prevention services for families; helping Kinship families (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who are caring for children who are family members, but not biologically their own) provide for the additions to their households!
