How long have you lived here?

20 years

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

I live in New Tampa. I chose this area because of the beautiful and modern atmosphere. I love the progress in New Tampa and new stores popping up in increasing numbers. The elementary schools are great for my children and everyone is really friendly.

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

Westchase

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

Being close to the beach, the diversity of people, Ybor and it's Cuban roots and History.

What kinds of things are you involved in?

I am a full time student at the University of Tampa. My major is in International & Cultural Studies with a minor in Journalism. My hobbies (and passion) include photography, graphic design, art, social media and PR. I love to contribute to the community and help society in every way possible.

Tell us about what you do.

Right now I am launching my photography along with my husband. I am also working on my BA. I worked in the corporate environment for over 10 years but decided to go back to school full time and focus on something that I will truly love to do.

If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?

The weather, family, friends, and simply because it's home. :)

Where else have you lived?

I was born in Santa Ana, California but only lived there until the age of 2. My family moved to Miami, Fl and that is where I spent my early childhood. At the age of six my family moved to Tampa and I have been here since. :)
