Artist Tatyana Igumnova Hankinson at The Kotler Gallery
The Kotler Gallery John F. Germany Public Library is pleased to announce that it will present a new exhibition of Russian artist Tatyana Igumnova Hankinson.
Tatyana Hankinson will present a collection of more then 40 new pieces. The exhibition will cover a wide range of media including oil, pastel, watercolor and photography.
The exhibit will be from
November 2nd through November 30th, 2009.
The Reception is on
Thursday November 12th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM.
No charge, refreshment served. The public is encouraged to attend.
Tatyana was born in former Soviet Union, graduated from the Kubyshev Art School in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a major in drawing and fine art. She came to the United States in 2002 and settled in Tampa where she is active in the local art scene.
"A lot of my paintings are of different places around the world. I paint what touches me, what I fall in love with. I work in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor because I see future paintings in different media depending what I am going to paint. Come to see my recent projects which center on landscapes of places I have visited like Aspen, Colorado; New York, Baltic Countries and of course my favorite, Florida."
Tatyana invites you to come and see the exhibit and you will fall in love with her subjects too!
